Armchair volunteering

After 4 years of volunteering with a local pet agency, I had to stop. A new coordinater was hired, and she turned into an evangelist of homeopathic and holistic methods she learned from reading a book. I was told to ignore veternary instructions with regards to medicines and diet. Also, after 2 years of being an adoption counselor, I was told that my adoptions has to be cleared so this new "lady" could make sure she could dictate diet and supplements for the new adoptors. This lady has no education, training or experience with shelters or vets. Yet I was expected to blindly follow her instructions of denying cats their medications or recommended diets. The cats were being starved and I couldn't take it any more.

So I will be spending more time trying to get some traffic to my websites.

Back to Clicking

I have joined many traffic exchanges. It's always hard to know which one's are performing the best, and which one's may not be worth the time. Also keeping up with all the one's I am a member of is hard. I use Traffic Hoopla to help sort throught them and suggest starting by surfing the Top 5 each week.

New Cat Escapes

Yesterday was very windy here. A cold snap is blowing this way. I was sitting at the computer near my window and saw what looked like a weird squirrel on the pile of wood nearby. Nope...It was Nu Nei my newly adopted feline. The door blew open and she snuck out. When I went out to get her she ran away from me. I got really panic stricken because it was her first time out since she's been here. She eventually snuck in when I wasn't looking. I guess she knows where the food is. Nue Nei was rescued by Madie at Every Cat Counts. Please visit their website at www.everycatcounts.info

I am a senseless clicker...

I am underemployed and have too much time to myself. I really need a good job. In the meanwhile, I am trying to pay for cat food by making a buck on the internet. So far, thats's been about it- a buck. My eyesight is almost gone from seeing so many ponzi schemes and my mouse is just about dead from clicking endlessly on so many traffic exchanges. I have adopted a new cat, and she keeps my lap warm while I sit at my old computer wishing I could afford a new one. At least I can blog with an old one.
